Missing People staff and volunteers will attend the People’s Postcode Lottery Millions event at Birmingham’s Fazeley Studios this Saturday, as local players share a £2m Jackpot.
This comes shortly after the announcement that Missing People was jointly awarded a Dream Fund by People’s Postcode Lottery, for the launch of the upcoming Child Rescue Alert.
The draw results will be announced from 11:30 and representatives from numerous charities will be there on the day to congratulate players, thank them for their support and raise awareness of the variety of causes their tickets contribute to.
To date, players of People's Postcode Lottery have raised over £36.9 Million for charities and good causes.
Julie Hawkins, Missing People Development Officer said:
“It’ll be great to be there on the day and watch people’s lives being changed, and speak to representatives from other charities that have benefitted from players’ support.
“The sums donated to good causes have been overwhelming and we’re keen to tell the world about the exciting months ahead.”
