Missing People employees who have reached 12 months’ service by the 15th week before the baby is due will receive the below (which is inclusive of Statutory Maternity Pay):

  • six weeks at full pay
  • followed by six weeks at 50% salary
  • the remaining 27 weeks at the Statutory Maternity Pay rate.
  • Additional paternity pay*
    • Missing People employees with 26 weeks’ service by the 15th week before the baby is due will be paid at full pay for two consecutive weeks (which is inclusive of Statutory Paternity Pay).
  • Additional sick pay

Charity sick pay is payable by management discretion, guided by the following scales:

  • Up to 6 months service : Two weeks’ full pay
  • Between 6 & 12 months service : Two weeks’ full pay and two weeks’ half pay
  • Between 12 & 36 months service : One month’s full pay and one month’s half pay
  • After 36 month’s service : Two months’ full pay and two months’ half pay
  • Childcare vouchers
  • Eye care vouchers

*available after probation period passed

We also do small things that make a big difference by providing fresh fruit at the Central Office as well as tea, coffee, hot chocolate (and sometimes a few marshmallows to add on cold days), water coolers and occasionally ice-creams on hot days!
