I joined Missing People because of the fantastic impact the charity has helping missing people and their families. More specific to my role, Missing People has a strong focus on innovative corporate partnerships which not only provide a source of income but can make a tangible impact in finding someone who is missing.
If I had to describe working for Missing People in 3 words it would be innovative, supportive and hectic! It’s a cliché but there is so much variety in a fundraising role here that each day can and often is completely different. You never stop learning at Missing People as the issue of “missing” is so complex and wide-reaching that it cuts across so many different topics.
My proudest moment for Missing People was when we won £150,000 from NEX Giving Day. There was so much support and hard work from people across the organisation which enabled us to put together a successful event and pitch.
